Waste Account Manager
We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Customer Account Manager to join our Commercial team. If you are an enthusiastic team player, with a passion for driving growth and exceeding our customer expectations, we want to hear from you!
The role
- build and maintain sustainable relationships with a portfolio of customers
- identify and secure new service opportunities with new or existing customers within the relevant area and support strategic sale initiatives
- gain an excellent knowledge of the full range of products and services we provide, in order to confidently promote the business and advise existing and prospective customers
- consistently strive to meet and exceed high volume sales goals, whilst maintaining a positive team environment by collaborating to achieve better results
- provide professional, prompt and accurate assistance to our customers
What you need
- proven experience of stakeholder management/networking to achieve results
- experience of working to targets and deadlines
- excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and on own initiative is key
- good negotiation and influencing skills
- ability to work both proactively and reactively in the role, according to fluctuating business requirements is vital
- an understanding of, or experience working within, the waste management industry would be a big advantage; however not essential, as full training will be provided
- a full driving licence which entitles the holder to drive in the UK is essential

The package
- Basic salary from £30k per annum DOE, plus performance-based commission
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
