Marketing Assistant
We have an exciting new role within our growing company! Are you creative, organised and passionate about marketing and community engagement? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team to help deliver impactful marketing and engagement campaigns that make a real difference.
The role
- create engaging marketing content, communications and promotional materials to promote our full range of services
- build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms
- support community and staff engagement activities as required
- proofread marketing copy ensuring it’s accurate, persuasive and on brand
- use software to design and create marketing assets
- maintain content on our website, writing and adding new content to pages, and producing insightful, relevant blogs to maintain SEO
- support wider team requests to deliver promotional material and literature as requested
- there is also the opportunity for the right candidate to undertake a Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship alongside the role, providing valuable professional development and a recognised qualification
What you need
- enthusiasm and passion for marketing, social media, digital, PR and communications
- creativity coupled with drive and ambition
- strong organisational and time management skills
- good standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
- marketing/communications qualification would be desirable, but not essential
- knowledge of website content management
- digital literacy (social media platforms)
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high proficiency in English
- proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- well presented, with a confident and professional manner
- strong attention to detail and accuracy

The package
- Hourly rate £13.10 per hour
- 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
